Many thanks to all that stopped by my table at the East Coast Toy Soldier Show in Hackensack NJ on November 5th. It was really nice to meet some of my ebay customers in person too. Once again thanks for your continued support of my endeavor to share these conversion figures with others who enjoy this fascinating hobby.

After months of working on Alamo and WW2 conversion figures I am headed back to some of my other favorite era's: Beau Geste, the Zulu Wars, Vikings and Normans and the British Colonial wars.

But first we start off with an interesting concept for a falling horse and arab. This one was inspired by the famous Marx Civil War falling horse and rider poses. The biggest problem with this was figuring out how to do a falling horse. The marx falling horse was too small and no other manufacturer made one in soft plastic. So after a lot of time, effort AND failures, I came up with this conversion by using an Imex galloping horse with some modifications. The horse was cut off the base and the legs bent, pinned and soldered to create the "falling" effect. The conte shot arab figure less the base works well to create this new and unique piece. Since taking these pictures I have developed a few more different falling horses and in the very near future I will be converting the arab rider from having a rifle in his right hand to a sword. So enjoy the pictures.
