Battlefield Miniatures

April features my new conversions of Toy Soldiers of San Diego's WW2 Japanese soldiers. Although the TSSD PVC figures are much more difficult to work with I have expanded into the WW2 Pacific Theater this month. WW2 Japanese toy soldiers are not that common in our hobby compared to other armies. So I took on the challenge of expanding the original TSSD 8 figures and came up with about 30 new conversion poses. Now that will really add a variety of poses to your Japanese Army. The pictures this month show you how well these great new poses look in a diorama setting. I also included a picture of the mini-diorama that I put together in just 5 minutes so I could take these shots. Many thanks to Rubbermaid for the plastic top (aka "improvised") which I used for holding the sand. I was truly amazed on how well the pictures came out with this "spur of the moment" diorama idea.
