Last month I took a trip to California and visited with Nick and Deanna Versteeg, owners of Toy Soldiers of San
Diego. Nick and Deanna have to be the nicest people in our hobby if not the whole country. Although our visit was
brief (only 2 hours) we felt right at home and enjoyed the conversations regarding their new Plains Indian
Wars/Custer Playset and upcoming figures for that era.
So for the December FOTM I decided to list some of the TSSD Indian conversion prototypes that I have been
working on during the last 30 days. These figures are only cut and pinned at this point. They still have to be
soldered in order to fuse the parts back together. I am thinking about keeping these for my personal collection since
TSSD will be coming out with mounted Indians as well as troopers in casualty poses in the near future.
Enjoy the pics and REMEMBER!!! Conversion figures (whether yours or mine) make a world of difference in a
diorama display. Now get some of these figures and start CUTTING!!!
Note: During the holiday season (December 1st through the 15th) I will be listing perhaps 50 or
more auctions of my new TSSD 7th Cavalry conversion troopers on eBay. These conversion
figures will go great with your NEW TSSD PLAINS INDIAN WARS PLAYSET that you will
probably get for Christmas. So make sure you check out my auctions for some special deals as
well as FREE SHIPPING on select listings. Thanks, Gary
