Continuing with the TSSD Plains Indians/Custer playset I decided to do a few conversions of Lt. Col George
Armstrong Custer at the Little Big Horn. I used the standard character figures made by Toy Soldiers of San Diego
(TSSD for short) which are included in their new playset but are also available in a carded combination set which
includes both Custer and Crazy Horse.

I made a couple different versions of Custer which can be used in either the TSSD playset or your own personal
diorama. The stock figure has Custer standing with 2 pistols and wearing a wide brim hat. My three (3) conversions
include a mounted pose, a hatless wounded pose and a hatless standing pose. Since I am a natural plastic collector it
is important to me that all parts or conversions should be the same color plastic. In this case I did not have to use
parts from other figures. All three (3) poses are made from the stock pose. OK, some guys will say "what head did
you use for the hatless pose"? To be honest, it's the same stock head but with the hat cut off and the hair "sculpted"
with my hot soldering iron. Although I am NOT a sculptor I must admit that he looks darn good!

I hope you like the pics of these new conversion poses. As always, I am available to help anyone who may want to
make these poses for themselves.

REMEMBER!!! Conversion figures--always add a new dimension to your diorama. ENJOY!!!
