Once again I have revisited another one of my favorite era's: THE ALAMO. I will be attending the 2010 Texas Show in San Antonio on the Memorial Day Weekend May 29th & 30th. The show will be at the Menger Hotel which is located right next to the "real Alamo" so what better place is there to display my Alamo conversion poses. I designed a new BAREHEAD version of Colonel Jim Bowie using the stock Conte Bowie figure. In addition I am remaking the BAREHEAD version of Colonel William Barrett Travis. This conversion pose is based on the ending scene in John Wayne's movie The Alamo where Travis is about to be shot by two mexican soldiers. Because I am a "natural plastic guy" these will be offered as unpainted conversion poses. However, I was able to convince renowned artist Will Leary of North Carolina to paint these two conversion poses shown so you can see how great they look when professionally PAINTED. Will has done a beautiful job bringing these figures to life with his artistic talents. You may contact him directly for information on his services. Please visit Will Leary's website to see his fantastic painted miniature figures which will take your breath away. Click on this link to access his site: http://www.gloryguys.com/ |
