Toy Soldiers of San Diego's new Custer's Last Stand Play Set debuted at the Chicago Show on Sunday, September
29, 2009. I got a limited number of their bagged 7th Cavalry poses and they are fantastic for making conversions.
Within 24 hours I knocked out these conversion figures using mostly the new 7th Cavalry poses but replaced all of
the kepi hat poses with new heads wearing campaign style hats. I did use a few heads from their Set#12 and a few
infantry poses. The conversion possibilities are endless and also include a few new mounted poses that I designed.
In the weeks ahead I will be buying a lot more of the 7th cavalry stock poses in order to design and make additional
poses that you can add to your new Custer play set.
Special Note: I will be attending the 1st Annual Fredericksburg Toy Soldier Show in Fredericksburg, VA on
Sunday, October 11th. I have been asked by Craig Remington who commissioned me to do his One Of A Kind play
set called "Custer in the Civil War". His play set will be on display only and I will be there to answer any questions
regarding the making of the conversion figures for this unique set. I made over 150 figures for this play set using
TSSD's civil war cavalry and artillery figures.
Here is my version of Custer's Last Stand using my new conversion poses.
