Custom Conversion Feature of the Month

For quite some time now collectors and eBayers have requested that I make custom conversion figures even if the
colors of the plastic DO NOT MATCH! I must admit that I have been hesitant in doing so since it's harder to market
a "multi-colored parts conversion". However, I do realize that making these types of conversion figures will offer
everyone a much greater variety of poses for their dioramas and collections. But the various plastics used by many
toy soldier manufacturers like BMC, Accurate, Imex and others may not always be compatible with my hot soldering
iron technique. I dislike offering a conversion pose that may not meet the standards of craftsmanship I desire. There
is an old saying, "Never say never" so with that in mind I have decided to take on this new challenge and make some
of them on a trial basis. The initial group will include "my versions" of some well known character figures of the Civil
War which are lacking in the plastic figure world. However I have decided to paint them a solid color which is very
close to the colors of the TSSD Civil War cavalry figures. (I know I am a natural plastic guy but sometimes we need
to improvise a little). At the time of this posting the new "painted solid color conversion poses" appear to be a "big
success" on eBay. I have now expanded into making some generic civil war officers as well as other soldiers. And you
will even find a Napoleon Bonaparte conversion on his white stallion. So enjoy the pictures and keep checking my
ebay auctions for these exciting new conversion poses.
