Battlefield Miniatures

This past Labor Day weekend brought an unwelcome computer crash just as I was getting ready for the feature of the month. Needless to say the FOTM was delayed until we could install a new hard drive.

This month shows prototypes of my new TSSD civil war mounted wounded trooper. I enjoy designing figures that can be used with other conversion poses in order to create an entirely different scenario. In this case I used an existing conversion pose called the "horse handler". That pose was designed so a trooper could hold up to 4 horses while his buddies were on a firing line. However, now you can use the new wounded trooper pose with the horse handler and create an entirely different scene. I am currently working on 2 versions of the wounded trooper with the difference being just the head/hat. It has been very challenging to get the trooper in the correct position that I wanted and I had to make several changes already.
