'Features of the Month:
This month I wanted to feature the outstanding work of a good friend of mine who lives in England. I met Brian
McIver a few years ago over the internet and a strong friendship developed ever since then. We even had the
opportunity to meet at the 2011 Texas Show in San Antonio last May. Brian is an exceptionally talented gentleman
who not only paints figures but does some OUTSTANDING scratch built buildings. He recently sent me three (3)
scratch built buildings consisting of a small cabin, a larger cabin called Hatchet Creek and a combination
church/schoolhouse. Once again these are all scratch built and very time consuming to make but well worth it. I
only wish I had Brian's talent. Please keep in mind that Brian is a individual and collector like myself. Nothing is
mass produced so it very labor intensive to make one of these buildings. If anyone would like to contact him you can
do so by emailing him at northreb@hotmail.co.uk Enjoy the photos! PS-The small Mattel cabin shows Brian's
painting skills.
